Come and join the club for our new member orientation weekend.
This event is open to all potential, new and existing members.
It is preferred that new and potential members attend an orientation day/weekend
We will be discussing minimum recovery equipment required, discuss recovery procedures and techniques.
Club history, we will also do practical demonstrations of recoveries, hill stall starts.
This event is open to all members as your experience and knowledge can help new members.
Meeting point will be Janowen Hills 4wd park Saturday morning.

EVENT DETAILS
Come and enjoy a day trip exploring the back roads to Toowoomba and back
Meeting point - will be - Ampol Bundamba (Citiwich) 6 Ashburn Rd - just off the M2
Meeting time - 8:00 for 8:30 departure
We will travel up the Darren Lockyer Way (M2), turn off to Murph's Creek, stopping at the historic Spring Bluff Railway Station for morning tea and restroom break (Cafe is closed)
We will travel up to Toowoomba via the Murphy's Creek road, and make our way to Picnic Point for a picnic lunch.
After lunch we will travel to Middle Ridge and descend down to Blanchview and travel the back roads to the Gatton Apex Park for an afternoon tea break (Restrooms available), then back to Brisbane via the M2
NOTE - There is a small section of gravel road (in good condition)

February club meeting will be held at the Tingalpa Hotel.

Paul Leadbetter is having a dinner evening to celebrate his birthday at The Lion at Richlands.
All members are invited to attend this social get together to help him celebrate.
Meeting point will be at the venue. 6 - 6.30pm
Come and enjoy a nice easy drive down to the Border Ranges national park.
This is not a Land Rover specific run so if you want to bring your daily driver/other brand 4wd you are more than welcome.
We will travel south from Beaudesert to the Lions road. A gold coin donation can be made as we cross the border.
We can check out the Border loop lookout if people wish to.
We will then continue down the lions road till the turn off to the national park. The road is dirt but suitable for 2wd vehicles.
There is an $8.50 charge to enter the national park with the pass to be displayed in the windscreen.
Lunch will be at one of the lookouts or day use areas.
After lunch we will head down into the Tweed valley and make our way through Tyalgum over to Chillingham then make our way back over the border into the Numinbah valley, we can stop at the Hinze dam for afternoon tea if time permits.
Meeting point will be the BP servo 3484-3496 Mt Lindsay Hwy Regents Park.
Meeting time 8am for a 8.30 departure.

Meeting at campgrounds from Friday morning.

August club meeting and AGM
Meeting starts at 7.30pm. AGM will be held after general meeting is closed.
All committee positions are open to be filled.

Come and spend the October long weekend with the club at beautiful Glenreagh.
Glenreagh is located on the Orara way halfway between Grafton and Coffs Harbour.
We will be staying at the local Showgrounds which have modern, clean facilities.
Powered and non powered sites are available.
