Meeting time.---8.30am for a departure time of 9.00am.
Things to bring. Food for lunch, wood fired bbq's at the lookout to cook on or bring your own portable cooker.
Details.--- Deb McManus will be leading a drive for the ladies. Ladies if your not comfortable driving in the bush make hubby/partner bring you along and cook you lunch.
We will be meeting at the Goodna Macca's and heading out along the Darren Lockyer way to just before Gatton, before turning off the highway and heading out to the Lockyer national park. We will make our way up through the forest tracks through many changing landscapes, emerging from the forest on the top of the ridge line surrounded by farmland. From there we will make our way up to the Gus Buetel Lookout to have a bbq lunch and chat while taking in the views over the Toowoomba range. After lunch we will head back to the forest and follow a different route out of the forest slowly making our way back to the township of Gatton then back to Brisbane.
Note::: this is not a dog friendly trip as we will be in a national park
