Come and join the club on an easy day trip to the Gatton state forest.
Meeting point will be the Mcdonalds at Goodna at 9am for a 9.30 departure.
We will make our way out to Gatton, going through town, and making our way into the forest by a different route to the usual route we take.
Once in the forest we will climb up to the main track. We will head up towards the Gus Butel lookout for lunch but wont be staying on the main road.
Lunch will be at the lookout. NB BBQ,s are available for cooking but you will need to bring some timber to cook.
After lunch we will backtrack slightly and explore some more of the forest.
Trip grading is easy with some low range driving involved. Due to the tracks we will be travelling on, which are not overly used some minor bush pinstripes may occur.
