Come and enjoy a nice easy drive down to the Border Ranges national park.

This is not a Land Rover specific run so if you want to bring your daily driver/other brand 4wd you are more than welcome.

We will travel south from Beaudesert to the Lions road. A gold coin donation can be made as we cross the border.

We can check out the Border loop lookout if people wish to.

We will then continue down the lions road till the turn off to the national park. The road is dirt but suitable for 2wd vehicles.

There is an $8.50 charge to enter the national park with the pass to be displayed in the windscreen.

Lunch will be at one of the lookouts or day use areas.

After lunch we will head down into the Tweed valley and make our way through Tyalgum over to Chillingham then make our way back over the border into the Numinbah valley, we can stop at the Hinze dam for afternoon tea if time permits.

Meeting point will be the BP servo 3484-3496 Mt Lindsay Hwy Regents Park.

Meeting time 8am for a 8.30 departure.

Trip grade easy.
