Join the club for an easy family fun afternoon/evening and visit the Famous Condamine Gorge and the headwaters of the Condamine River - Australia's largest river system.

Meeting Point - Matilda Roadhouse near the Amberley Caravan Park at 11:00am for an easy 11:30am Departure.

Highway cruise to the Boonah-Fassifern Rd turnoff to Boonah, then onto the Boonah-Rathdowney Rd, to the famous Dungandan Hotel, we will stop at the pub for lunch. Lunch is available from 11am to 2.30pm. After lunch we will head off to the Carney's Creek Turn-off and the Queen Mary Falls Circuit.

We'll be climbing up into the Main Range National Park and then turning onto the Condamine River Road. Yes, the road does really cross the Condamine River 14 times, with easy and shallow well formed rock bottomed crossings. When we get to the end of the Condamine river road we can decide if we want to continue on the loop through Queen Mary falls or head back through the creek crossings.
