Moreton Island is the 3rd largest sand island in the world and over 96% National Park. Together with Fraser Island it forms the largest sand structure in the world. Come spend the Easter Long-weekend relaxing on one of Queensland's true gems with your club mates.

Travel to Moreton

Members should make their own bookings directly with the ferry operators. Call 07 3909 3333. Family bookings are also available. Pls note trailers are considered as a standalone vehicle thus vehicle with trailer is charged as 2 vehicles.

NB: This is a peak travelling season and available spots are already filling up. BOOK EARLY.

NB: You will require a Vehicle Access Permit $43.60 per vehicle. This can be purchase when you make yr ferry booking.

Travel to Comboyuro Point

When leaving the ferry, turn left and head north along the western/bayside beach. Bit of a slog but beach is still passable at high tide. Distance to travel is ~12km. CAUTION: Be cautious at creek crossings especially either side of high tide.

NB: Beach is closed to all vehicles at Cowan Cowan. Head inland and follow the Cowan Cowan Bypass that goes around behind this township.

UNSURE ? : Let Trip Leader know yr barge arrival time & I'll be at the barge to meet you.
