    Welcome to the Club

Welcome to the Brisbane Land Rover Owners Club website. We are an active club that was formed in 1986 and has a membership well over a hundred.

Club activities take place throughout the year and vary from family day runs to induction weekends where you can learn more about the capabilities of your vehicle. We arrange practice days and trials that can challenge the most experienced drivers and organise longer trips to the outback.

Our monthly social gatherings over a meal and a drink are relaxed and provide an opportunity to chat about all things Land Rover and to exchange ideas with other members.

In the Membership section of the website, you’ll find an application form.

That’s your starting point. The Club looks forward to you becoming a member.

    Off Roading

It's often said that half the off-road capable vehicles never go off road.  In may ways that's a great shame.  Australia is blessed with what we call the 'Outback', a vast expanse of adventure waiting to be exploited.  For those who have driven the dirt tracks, climbed the sand dunes and watched the night skies with no light pollution, the experiences can be described as special.  Actually very special.

However, driving off road can be challenging and it's wise to be prepared.  The LROCB runs Orientation Weekends at pretty regular intervals.  That's the opportunity to learn the tricks, or to freshen up what's already been learned.   The next one commences on 27 April.
